Children's Organiser / School Planner

Cultivating Kids has designed a unique kids organiser which will enable children to take ownership of their day resulting in independent thinkers and with less mayhem in the mornings.

The Face Your Day organiser allows children to actively participate in organising their day and becoming aware of what is required to be responsible for managing their time.

Features of the kids organiser are:

• a laminated weekly organiser that can be placed on your child's bedroom wall
• each morning your child does selected daily tasks and puts a symbol in each box when completed. These are erased each night and a different symbol replaced in the squares for each day of the school week.
• at the begining of each week, children can write on the lines for each day the relevant reminders for weekly tasks or events. These can be seen in the numbered face frames. Together discuss what might be needed to be remembered for each. If reading or writing is a challenge, then just add the circled number onto the line for the right day.
• some blank face frames at the bottom allow for you to write in different individual tasks or events that may arise.
• when all tasks are marked off and checked and they are ready to face their day, they could then be rewarded with some free time for themselves. Praise and reward independent thinking and organisation skills with a treat at the end of a well organised week.
• the dry erase whiteboard marker must be stuck back into position ready for action. Impress on children the organiser is a serious document for them to manage and be responsible for.
